The award is for an active
member of the floricultural industry. The recipient should be one that
is willing to share knowledge about our changing industry, who participates
in functions presented by our Association, and is active in the industry.CRITERIA:
1. Must be a member in good
standing with the Association or an employee of a member in good standing.
2. Must be active in industry
through shows, fairs, seminars or other educational functions. Must be
someone who pursues innovative ideas and is willing to share them with
others.
3. Must not have received
the award in any previous year. There is only one vote per
member shop. Vote must be mailed in on MSFGA ballot. No phoned-in ballots
will be accepted. This award will be presented
at the MSFGA show each year in September. A small plaque will be given
the recipient and their name will be inscribed on the large plaque which
the Association will display at their events. An industry related book
or publication will also be awarded to the winner to be placed in their
local library, if they so desire, with an inscription in the book telling
of the award, the recipient, and of their donation. An identical book will
be purchased for the MSF&GA lending library for the use of the membership. (Note): Recipient’s contributions
